  1. M. R. (MENTALLY RETARDED) is completely neglected by society and government.

  4. The happiness, normally of the family having Mentally Retarded is totally shattered.

  5. With a Mentally Retarded member in the family, parents are not able to devote their full attention towards their occupation this means loss of National Productivity. If the Mentally Retarded is kept in an institution like ours, it will lead to increase in the National Productivity by concerned families.

  6. It is a tragedy that even at old age the parents can neither take nor leave behind their M. R. home behind while leaving house for Travel to Pilgrimage.

  7. What is the future of Mentally Retarded after the death of the Parents / Guardians, nobody knows.

  8. After the death of parents the parenthood goes to brother and his wife. But they themselves are not independent.

  9. After the demise of Parents, the Mentally Retarded Person is dependent on secondary relationship such as brother or sister who are also dependent on their respective spouse.

  10. There are number of day schools for Mentally Retarded but they are hardly for 4 hrs. and 180-200 days a year. It is torturous to bring and leave Mentally Retarded to school. It is Mental, Physical and Financial torture Prey none be cursed with Mentally Retarded child on the family.

  11. All other handicaps such as having various Government facilities (Blind, Dumb, Deaf and Physically Handicapped) can be independent and they posses brain.

  12. Mentally Retarded does not learn and if at all they learn, forgets it. The handicap of Mentally Retarded should never be compared with other handicap. Hence we seek the help of the Government (Social Welfare). Those parents of Mentally Retarded who are in agreement with above may.

  13. Beru Matimand Pratishthan has thus directly / indirectly contributed to the National Productivity by safeguarding the interests of the families in this grip and is heralding the motto of serve the National serve the God.
